Please be respectful to the runners that must get up early.Ĭampfires are not allowed in the camp loop. Do not drive past road closed barriers or around blocked off areas. Please see the Race Guide for camping map. There are many options for dispersed camping along the Behind the Rocks Rd. If you arrive after 9 PM, please DO NOT camp in the main camp loop. Please follow directions of parking attendants. If you are not, you may be asked to move. Please be sure to camp in designated spots. There are plenty of spots to accommodate everyone. We will have toilets available for the campers, beginning Friday. The road leading to camp is slow and technical in spots. The Cajun Cook-Off takes place in Cathedral Square - easy walking distance from the Mobile Civic Center.There are spots for tents and RV/Campers. The course has a nice gradual climb to a scenic vista before a fast downhill to the finish. The Flint & Steel Trail Run spans the diverse trails over the 1000 acres on. Winning teams will receive specially designed awards. Strollers, baby joggers, roller blades, balls, bicycles, headphones, ear buds and pets are prohibited on the 5K and 10K race courses. Participants that have not completed the race by 10 AM will be asked to move to the sidewalk. The 10K course will close 2 hours after the race start. Water and comfort stations are provided along the courses. All races start and finish close to the Mobile Civic Center in downtown Mobile. The Azalea Trail Run offers USATF certified 10K and 5K race courses, plus a 2K Fun Run/Walk. Mobile's Azalea Trail Run will celebrate 42 years of running the streets of Mobile at its blooming best - join us! All 5K and 10K registrations must be completed by 7:30 AM to be entered in the computer system. Race day packet pick-up and walk-in registration will be available on Saturday, March 23 starting at 6 AM at the Mobile Civic Center. We created this ultra-running event to preserve the atmosphere of the Bighorn Mountains once threatened by a West Coast power.
